Its actually hilarious.

Next up, comparing opening doors to frogger. Theyre are actually just embarrassing themselves at this point. I really hope these same users doing this just leave, the community would be much, much more productive without them.

They have my go ahead to add traps and secret areas into maps, it worked great for Torchlight and finding secret areas is a great way to slow down the game and reward players for exploring the maps.

All sorts of uncomparable games were compared, all they did was compare for comparisons sake even though their comparisons were laughable at best.

When the lab was first released, I almost quit the game. I still don't like it but have accepted the necessity of doing it for the points. I really don't want to have to deal with traps while mapping. Needing to move a levet to open a secret door or change a layot is fine, even sort of cool but just not more traps please.

For example... What if they changed the saw blades to Ursas with razor sharp fangs, buffed their damage, and put them on predictable pathing with no aggro values? Or they could just give the saw blades eyes, and have them jump their tracks to aggro you, then drop phat loot when you kill them. How's that?

On a more serious note, I think people *enjoy* getting triggered about the word "trap".

I said that based on a long friends list and 100+ guild members (also, just freaking read this thread). Taking a decent sample and generalizing to the general population is what statistics are about, [Removed by Support]. A lot of people dislike lab/traps and don't want more of them, deal with it.

And about linear/easy to run maps, you just need to look at the variation in prices for strand/gorge/plateau/lake vs others of the same tier or even higher. Also, they're preferred not just for efficiency, but also because to a lot of people there's nothing intrinsically fun about looking at a map layout all the time and trying to figure out how to run it efficiently. I think i'm good at it, that doesn't mean I enjoy it, and from playing in parties... I know a lot of people like running around like headless chickens while barely looking at the layout. It's an ARPG, we're here to kill monsters and grab loot, not play cartographer.

Lastly, you talk as if its the 1% who feels that way. I got some news for you, [Removed by Support]: going back to the prices of some maps vs others, the 1% couldn't influence the economy that much, that's for sure. [Removed by Support]
