Hey, this build looks awesome!

Going to give it a try, but I have a couple of questions:

1. Why not go for Master Surgeon in stead of Veteran Bowyer and Master Herbalist?
2. Would a Doryani's Catalyst give better damage than a weapon rolled with fire burst? I know fire burst does a lot of damage, but Doryani's scales all other spell.

Thanks!
1.) You can easily outregen any bleed on your character with a solid reduced damage taken over time mod on your shield, rendering bleed removal flasks useless.
2.) A decent rolled scepter with fireburst would outperform a perfectly rolled Doryani's Catalyst at any given time but it surely is a good budget option.

Take mine for example.

The only thing it has going for it is the T1 Cold Damage to Spells and the good Catarina craft, yet it already outperforms a perfect Catalyst. Imagine getting a better roll, the difference is huge.

Currently working on setting up the build.
Getting those corrupted goves is a pain the the ass though! No luck vaaling so far, and just buying them is like 6ex....

Use non corrupted ones and throw in a few more Fevered Mind jewels for the same effect. Having the CoC corrupt is pretty much just min maxing since it allows you to run less Fevered Mind and get more life/dmg out of good rare ones.

Thanks.

Thinking about running the cyclone in my 6L body armor untill I get a corrupted version. The bit of damage loss from less spell cwdt is currently a non issue. Clearspeed is already insane. Plus, the extra mana cost will make me cast the cwdts faster, so It'll even out.
Don't really feel like spending another 2ex on those jewels, and losing 14% life.

Also decided to use this belt instead of a rare one. I'm not ver fond of having to spam my pots every 5 seconds, so the 60% increased duration helps. Together with the Druidic Rite node, this gives me 92% increased flask effect duration. 15% extra movespeed is also pretty nice.

Using a 6l for Cyclone works just fine for map clearing, you most likely won't notice a difference in clear speed at all. Having a 6l for bosses however is another story. Both Molten Shell and Flame Surge with support gems offer really good single target dps while still providing decent aoe, I wouldn't want to miss that on things like Shaper or the Uber Atziri trio. As for cwdt casts, as long as you get one cycle of spells every 250ms (which is cwdt's internal cooldown) you'll be fine. Everything else is just min maxing and the build performs well enough without that already.

I understand.
Will do some experimenting, and just keep on vaaling them gloves :-)

Don't think we'll ever get close to reaching that 250ms cooldown time though, since with the optimal setup (6l cyclone in gloves, and 5 Fertile Mind jewels) we get 1 cwdt trigger per 2 cyclone casts. 2 Cyclone casts last way longer than 250ms.

Edit: got tired of vaaling, bought the gloves with corruption. The proc rate increase is insane! Damn this build is fun!

Question though, did you guys manage to lvl this build beyond 90? Or is it to rippy running into nullifier mobs?

You get really close to it by having good movement speed and the onslaught mod on your chest. Use cyclone close to your cursor so it recasts constantly for the maximum effect.

Leveling this is a breeze, even on the hardest maps you can imagine. Facetanking twinned Rigwald, Malachai and most of the Shaper stuff (minus slam) is easy as long as you have your flasks up. I am at 92 right now and could easily push for 95+ if I wanted to but unfortunately I already grew tired of the league and therefore don't really care that much. Once you hit 92+ it is just about getting a little bit of extra health here and there. Not a big deal.

The only time I ever die is when I play like an idiot and stop using cyclone (= no regen) or forget to flask Zerphi's for whatever reason.

Have any of you played this build in parties?
If so, did you change anything in the setup, like replacing certain spells with supports, so it's less laggy?

Yes. You can have seperat setups for Molten Shell, Vortex, Flame Surge and Shock Nova. Controlled Destruction, Conc. Effect, Ele. Focus and stuff like that. I used that for Uber Atziri so I don't randomly die to mirror phase with projectiles all over the place.

The damage is slightly lower but the lag is less. Clear time will also suffer since you are required to get closer to your enemies, it is a good boss killer though.
Thanks! That worked like a charm. Though I still notice partying can be quite lethal when there's lag from other players. Suicideing sucks :-)

Made some minor tweeks to the build.
Using Blood Rage to get frenzy charges. Got 5 atm. 1 from Bandits, and 1 from ammy.

This 20% more damage is quite the boost, since it double dips on the poison.
Current Molten Shell tooltip in HO = 41.5k, and fully buffed with flasks/charges/RF = 152k

When trying to lvl I'm using a legacy Divination Distillate for the 9% extra all res, and some free MF.

Combined with a lecacy Saffell's I can even run ele reflect maps (98/89/89 res or 98/93/89 if I want to be really save with Purity of Ice)

Loving this build! Must say that is took some getting used to though. From 90-91 I died like 5 times due to crappy flasking. 90.5-92, zero deaths. And as an extra benefit, I can finally lvl up my Leo, since this build does quite well in pvp too.

Epic thanks to Kelsaik for donating his gear to me in Breach! After many considerations I decided not to lvl another char in breach though(I find lvling to be extremely boring), and instead use it to upgrade my char in standard when the league ends. I'll be playing this build for quite some time. Goals will be to clear all end-game content, since I've never done an Uber Atziri/Guardians/Shaper. I know, I'm quite the noob player ;-D

Cheers
