This build is a spin off from the Slayer version.

Kudos to @Ezevade's tweak (from Elementalist to Raider and +1 Frenzy charge) to the build, the build is now final.

I have been testing Scion class in patch 3.0 and since a number of players have asked me if Slayer version will work for Scion. Here it is.

The following information should be enough for people who want to farm Uber lab all day long as a Scion.

Up to 50% increased Cyclone damage, 25% increased attack speed, 10% increased movement speed. You can run with 5L. Main drawback is the lack of defense stats.

Bronn's Lithe provides great damage buff to the build. Thanks to @Lunartuna for testing it out.

Increased AOE, great clear speed, comes with all resist and decent life.

Belly's large life pool couple with Windshriek's (fated version of Windscream) +1 curse (for Enfeeble), you can easily reach effective life pool of 8300. Great setup when you are focused on leveling.

Cons: You have to skip hexproof maps as curse do not work on the mobs.

Similar to Belly + Windscream, Cospri's Will with Enfeeble works great for leveling and your curses work in hexproof maps too.

Cons: Lower effective life pool as compared to Belly + Windscream combo

NOTE: A medium warcry cluster jewel with Mob Mentality + Cry Wolf will be superior over this.


29% chance to gain endurance charge on kill. A lazy man approach to gain endurance charges without self casting Enduring Cry.

This jewel is pure luxury.

You socket the jewel near Barbarism node as shown:

Cons
- Leveling to level 55 could be a chore but from there onward it is a breeze
- Requires some refund points to respec the tree as you progress higher in your level
- Rely on Vaal Pact for survival, thus losing the life regen but overleech from Slayer makes up for it

- Requires linking Fortify gem to Leap Slam and using Leap Slam to proc instead (unless you swap Added Fire Damage gem in chest slot with Fortify for permanent fortify)

I do not have the paste bin data for this build but what you can do is import your own Slayer profile into PoB and then follow by the skill tree of this Scion version. :)

You can use Voidheart as long as you are not running Avatar of Fire (or using Xoph's Blood).

The skill tree to use for Voidheart will be the same skill tree as Xoph's Blood but without Xoph's Blood amulet.

I would recommend you to go for Avatar of Fire skill tree if you do not yet own Xoph's Blood amulet because AoF gives better damage as compared to Voidheart. You will need to re-spec your skill tree when you get your hands on Xoph's Blood.
For one who haven't tested the slayer build and want to test this out. What would you recommend using, Slayer or Scion? Pros / cons?
