(3.12) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder

Ah i had decided to do ED tricks for my league start but now after giving this build a try i am now torn !!!
After the gem reveal:

Might be good to go with awakened added chaos damage right? +1 lvl to all active skill gems seems quite good, tho the added Chaos does nothing for us right?

Might be good now to go with Vicious Proj over Mirage Archer, the awakened gem looks pretty good aswell.
Movement speed decreased by 40% in new POBuilding :(

What was changed as a result of this as that's a pretty big drop in speed

I would like to know this as well please. Most of my interest in this is the fast mapping.

The Alchemist Cluster, that doesn't exist anymore, gave 26% increased Flask Effect. That gave us much more Evasion (from Jade Flask) and thus more MS through QotF.

If you desperately want it back, you can get more Evasion from Tree, or add a Stibnite Flask for more Eva from flasks.

Only the initial hit profits from added Chaos.
Personally I dont think taking it for the sole purpose of +1 gem lvl is worth it.
I personally wont remove Mirage Archer as well, as it helps (with enough MS that we have) to still zoom from pack to pack and thus clears a lot for us, even with a smaller range an
The damage should honestly still be enough for pack clear.

I did some calculation with POB and myself (not 100% exact values I think), but to get a general idea which gem gives me what.
I'll probably go with:
Toxic Rain - Mirage Archer - Vicious Projectiles - Void Manipulation - Empower - Swift Affliction/Efficacy.

SA and Efficacy give roughly the same amount of damage, where the main difference is, that Efficacy deals less dmg over a longer period and SA vice versa.
Maybe Efficacy is even better until you get better gear / more dmg, but I'll see that and might change my gems accordingly.
I also got to mention here, that I took quite some more Skill Effect Duration on the tree, than the OP did.
As there will be a lot of bossfights, probably most of them without adds, I doubt that I'll be at all full life all the time either.
So dropped that for Vicious Projectiles.

I used to play trickster ed/contagion in ssf, how much this build is item dipendent? I was wondering to start with soulrend/bane or ed/contagion and switch to this one when i get a good bow.
I really like trickster as starter, also for the tankiness.

+1 gems is like 10-12% damage max, definitely not worth an entire support slot.

The build literally didn't change in terms of movement speed, just reallocate and change a flask prefix, tick onslaught for mapping. I put an extra POB in the 3.9 section if you don't understand, but the build hasn't changed. 240% MS for normal mapping, 300% if you want to use Smoke Mine + helmet enchant.

Toxic Rain is a better SSF starter than ED/contagion in my opinion. If you look at the budget video for Shaper, I'm wearing a bunch of trash yellows.

Do you think in hcssf is better going for MoM while leveling?
Maybe until we don't have enough good res source. I was thinking of going with ghost dance and escape artist for first ascendences.
