Hideouts Playlist - Favour Farming - Hideoutshowcase profile - Hideout Reddit

Hi there !

Here are my creations from the most recent to the oldest one, I try to make them without mtxs or optionally. As I'm fairly new to video editing I improve over time. Feel free to leave your feedback !

If you have any hideout related question please post it here, thank you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

> 🏠Hideout decorations suggestions, feel free to add yours too !
Thank your for the decos GGG ! Hope there'll be more in the future :)

> 🔧Changes to decorations/tilesets/lighting expected
Some tilesets won't load entirely the previous hideouts (coral, alpine for example).

> 🔧Changes to some hideout decorations from 3.11
Some decos have been changed, it'd be nice to restore their previous versions.

> 🧱Suggestions of simple hideout tilesets.
It'd allow a lot more possibilities in terms of creation.

> 🎵Suggestion for the hideout music player
It'd allow to play custom music in our hideout.

> ⬛The blocking volume decoration should not count as a deco below a certain number.
It'd allow to wall/hide some parts of the hideout without using the decorations slots.

Tileset : Cartographer's Hideout - v1.0

Presentation
"In the middle of the forest lies an alchemist, for he is withdrawn from the turpitudes of the world, he observes the phenomena of nature and tries to discover its most fabulous secrets."

A small cozy lair where an alchemist lives and does his research, he sometimes goes to the forest to get a bit of magic water to carry out his experiments.

I started this hideout a while ago (first draft uploaded in April https://youtu.be/wb2c59ceFDE)but I couldn't post it in Harvest because of the bloom effect. I modified it to add some of the new decorations, hope you like it.

Tileset : Celestial Nebula Hideout - v1.1

Presentation
This hideout is inspired from a town called "Oakvale" from Fable : The Lost Chapters, but it's not meant to be a 1:1 copy.

I made a first draft a while ago which I uploaded later the 22nd of July (https://youtu.be/f1KlhZYFGgU), but due to to many small changes I made a new video :)

Tileset : Alpine Hideout - v1.5

Presentation
These men have the heavy burden of guarding the North in wartime, perched on the highest peak of the mountain they have very few contact with the rest of the world, left to their own devices order and discipline are being applied by the commandant and his captain.

When we look at the right side next to the entrance, we see the Beacon of the camp, its blazing fire signals the position of the camp to their allies.

When we go farther we will find an encampment where the soldiers can eat and train themselves with the combat instructor. The Commandant is in charge of the camp while the Captain is with the soldiers on a daily basis. Nearby lies the Forge where the Blacksmith is working on the equipment destined to the soldiers.

The watchtower is permanently in alert and reports are sent three times a day to the Commandant and the Captain.

The soldiers are doing a shift regularly, those who are not in charge can rest and eat what is at their disposal at their military house.

Tileset : Unearthed Hideout - v2.0

Presentation
This house is a refuge for those who are mining and studying the properties of azurite. The main area is the house, on the upper side there is an access to the mountain where people are venturing out to find some azurite. If we go farther we will find a sulphite area.

The house can be accessed by two ways : The first one for the people who are coming from another area of the mountain, a strong carriage lies there in case the inhabitants want to go this way. The second one is by going down south, to a small place no longer inhabited, but the dock is still used to buy supplies for the house. There is also an old abandoned church but no one has gone there for a long time.

Old Project - To be reworked

v2.0
Tileset : Coral Hideout
Presentation
I was inspired by the theme of the town called "The Lion's Arch" from the game Guild Wars 1 to make this hideout.

The bottom part is the port where various merchants are unloading their goods from the boats, a tavern lies nearby for those who want to get one or two drinks (very reasonable people there). When we go farther North we cross the great arch flanked by two big lion statues which the town is named after. Up the forest lies a shrine of the local divinities.

On the Eastern side we will access the marketplace of the town where many exotic goods can be bargained at a good price. On the South we will find the lighthouse which helps to guide ships to the right place but apparently some of them did the mistake to go too close to the coast.

I will probably rework this hideout at one point, because it was designed to get way more decorations so i had to botch some parts, overall i'm not satisfied with it :(

Well your reddit post worked to get to notice your work.

I think you are extremly talented (maybe even more then the more "popular" ho builders), your lightning/atmosphere just feels way better, but I think you at least should adjust your future works to some point:

--> You realy like to hide msater and often you do that quite well, but I think it is a bit of a cheap way out. In some places it works. Let's take Zana in "Wake of the Devil". That is just fine. But Jun and Alva are a diffrent beast and while I know what your first reaction will be (" I just make a base, you can move masters"), having them "functianlly" intergrated in the ho is important for most players. As I predicted your reaction, yeah someone could move the master, but it may look out of place etc. Giving them a space where u use at least 3-4 portals is a part of HO building that should not be dodged for coregame content.

The Wild West one is just gorgeous, but the Jun and Alva placement is BS and people would siwtch it up alot, so it is kinda "cheating" to look better (without a contest to win xD) then it actually is.

Northstar seem to be Alva pretty usable, Jun may be kinda iffy?

I guess it would alot of mayor work to address this in existing hos from you, but someone with your talent should come up with better solutions because if you don't, you could put the mostly unusable masterpositions just offscreen and it would be just as good/bad.

Looks amazing all around. Will check back and DL some of these. Thanks! :0)

First thanks a lot for the compliment ! I try to do my best :)

You well anticipated my reaction, people are free to modify them at their convenience :p After all modifying the position of some masters is not that of a big deal..

The main problem with the masters is to justify their themes in a hideout which has its own theme and atmosphere, in most cases i find them just irreconciliable. To me it'd be criminal to put a jungle themed einhar in a wild west themed hideout, or an Aztec themed Alva in the middle of a snowy watch theme. I could put them virtually anywhere because they won't fit anywhere unless i modify their surroundings to fit better in which case the hideout as a whole would lose a lot. So if it means that i'd prefer people to do it as they think would be better. I prefer to hide these horrors :D It's not ideal but it actually works out pretty well usually. It'd be great to get various outfits for the masters, that'd certainly help a lot.

Edit : depending on how the new master system works it might partially resolve the issue (if the missions are opened from the map device).

Looks so nice man! Great job! I was curious what décor item the giant cylindrical parts are for the space ship? maybe I don't have the right masters full level yet, but just curious. My fav out of the showcase.
