Sirus fight is making me quit POE

Just did the fight, it's trivial until the last phase where the entire thing goes to shit, so much garbage on the floor you can't see, the AoE with shitty hitboxes blocking the arena, the 1 shot mechanics that happen way too fast to even react to half the time. I ended up losing 3 portals to the AoE trying to get back to sirius and failed with him at like 30% life because for some fucking retarded reason he jumps back to 50% when you get him in to the last phase.

It's such a shit fight and infuriating that this shit is basically forced on us.

Get rid of mandatory boss fights and bring back target farming of maps.

Oh and admittedly I did this with a 4 link ED and 5 link Bane, so not the highest damage, but more damage shouldn't be the solution here, I could have easily killed him if it wasn't for the AoE that follows you around and is just cancerous, even if I died a few more times, I could have dodged the 1 shots long enough to get him.

ive been watching some friends playing with CI and its obvious 50 % of all his attacks and spells are chaos damage. CI players dont take any damage during the fight. they can facetank everything even run into degen tornados for 5 sec…

as you can see from the spoiler(values from PoEDB), as long as you are shock/CB immune, you'll end up taking no or way less damage from some of his skills.

last phase is cancer because of the CB stack and shocking degen patches on the ground.

it also seems that if the degen storm blocks the entrance, its totally your fault ;)

e: so get good or switch to Slayer for the last phase and cull his ass at 20% (reason why i started leveling my shitty glad with free respec)

you get taught to stay away from storms and boss skills in general and then you're expected to go under the boss that is in the middle of the storm to get him to come down so you can continue the fight ... yeah great ... regretting the supporter pack now

Before i got my first Uber Elder kill i wasted 50-60 Shaper sets.
Was frustrating until i learned the machanics, but i didn't pack my shit after 2 sets with "that's all folks" xD...

Some kid playing my Glacial Hammer on 5L got to t16. Tried Awakener, got rekt and started crying how build is bad...
Bad game, bad builds, bad bosses, all in all unplayable lol...

I too feel this way, I got wrecked by Sirius quite unfairly also.

I honestly think that Sirius damage perhaps should not change if you have a fully awakened atlas but dramatically NERFED if you're at T0 atlas and scale in between. That way, people at least have a chance to learn the mechanics before ramping up the risk/reward.
I wish GGG can make many more similar fights. It's a brilliant design. All those streamers who need to play PoE every day, will get even more problems with their mental health.

I just "finnished" my second Sirius... First fight was ok till he moved to the stairs on his flying chair, then I got blocked, died and thanks to bubbles lost all portals. Now I died during second phase thanks bubbles again... one moved close to arena enterance and that was end of the fight. Its quite frustrating.

There is a very big difference between losing to Sirus and losing to uber elder. Against uber elder, when you lose all your portals it's because you failed to dodge the attacks during the fight. That's the major point, you got to fight them when you died.

Against Sirus you can lose all 6 portals without even seeing him. It's not that he is even remotely dangerous himself, only the environment surrounding him is dangerous. That's why people say he it's a stupid fight and no matter how easy he might be once you know how to avoid those storms, it will remain a stupid fight.
