[3.12] Brittleknee's Darkness Farmer - 200+ Depth, Fossils, Resonators, Currency - Video Included!

I am looking to try out this build to see if I want to do it next league (HEIST). I'm currently going through the leveling process and am slightly confused by the role of EO. My understanding is that it cannot trigger from my mines crits and also removes their crit multi. If this is true, anything that increases the crit chance/multi of mines is useless, yet the leveling tree takes mine crit nodes. Also I don't have any other ability that can consistently proc EO without making the build feel janky (I tried cold snap and WoC, but too low crit even with increased crit supp).

I guess my question is if there is something I am missing about this interaction or if this is an oversight in the leveling part of the guide?

The mine nodes increase the global critical strike chance, so that should help with sustaining EO. I guess don't worry about it too much, should matter a bit only for bosses. Maybe you can experiment with Arcanist Brand and see if you like it.

Please forgive my ignorance, I've never been good at theory crafting and tend to overlook important points.
I find both pastebins to contain gaps in the tree so I am uncertain how to connect the paths, as I would guess, since the disconnected path has valuable points, that they belong together, and do not want to miss a much needed passive. What is the best pathing between the two?

Nah. The build doesn't care about being punched in the face, and we did not scale the invisibility at all previously. All of the Enhance/Quality scaling for Phase run was for move speed, not detection.

At worst you'll have to pay a bit more attention at deeper depths if your route has nasty mods while you pick up the resonators/azurite. Otherwise, its unchanged.

Hey, no worries at all. When an Ascendant finishes a path in her Ascendancy, she gains the ability to start from the other character's starting nodes. By completing the Ranger path, we can start at her nodes and thus the gap.
