Make sure you are using the community fork version of POB and that you update it.
Might help to point that out in the start post, every build thread is filled with "pob doesn't work wtf" posts because people missed the fork. Understandably, had the same issue last league after coming back after a break.

If you google "PathOfBuildingCommunity / PathOfBuilding" just click the first link and download the setup exe. After the start, let pob check for updates and apply the latest version.

I have a stupid question regarding the build:

1) Elemental Focus says we can't apply ailments anymore. Why is that not bad? Is it that the ignite is not important since everything explodes right away anyway (and doesn't have time to burn? What about bosses?)?
Elemental Overload says ailments no longer come from crits, which also sounds like a downside. So our ailments ignite and scorch are not important since our main damage source is pure fire damage? Or do we apply ailments from another source? Sorry, noob question I know.

2) still low level and SSF. What should I prioritize on my rares regarding defense?

Is "LIFE > ES > resists > Armour" correct? Where do I get the strength for the armour pieces? Right now I was focusing on "mage gear" with INT requirements, those mostly sport energy shield and not armour.
Evasion rating is not interesting since we go for Block, right.


Thx, 400hrs in and still noob questions every league. ;)

1) Elemental Focus does stop Incinerate from igniting. However, the build also employs infernal cry and combustion, both of which can help ignite bad guys (either through Wave of Conviction or Reckoning depending on your set up).

2) you are correct about what to prioritize (the first three you list have equal priority). For strength, you will have to add it via the crafting bench if you can't find it on gear. You can also take a +30 Strength node on the tree to help out. If and when you can support the strength requirements via gear, you can respec the +30 node.

One general caution though, this build employs very important uniques, specifically the shield. If you don't find it on SSF, the build may not come together for you maps.

I am in early testing but so far Frost Shield appears to be an excellent upgrade from Cold Snap. It has already saved my butt a couple of times in the insane Heist door sequences.

I think the bug introduced in 3.12 means that you are not currently benefitting from Pain Attunement.

Pain Attunement gives 30% more spell damage if on low life. But with the bug, Pain Attunement is likely not proccing since the game does not consider you on low life when using Cowards Legacy.

If that is true, your tool tip may be missing the 30% from Pain Attunement.

Let us know after 3.12.1 is released.

It may not fix your tool tip but I am pretty sure you are going to see your real damage usage increase once the bug is fixed.

Thanks for the heads up, the issue has indeed been solved and tooltip dps is back to 215k.

Let me know if it feels better when bossing now.

I assume this does not fix our POB issue of the missing 500K but this was a great bug fix for us nonetheless.
