Assuming this isnt available with Steam users?

I cant backspace out gateway to type in Canada.

It does work with Steam. The box should still allow text to be entered in the Steam client.

Doesnt allow any typing in the gateway box. I'm special just have to type over the actual gateway.

Hi all,

Currently, 20-30% of the players playing on our Washington D.C. gateway are from Canada. This combined with community feedback has motivated us to look into the viability of opening a gateway in Eastern Canada.

I've set up a small set of servers in Toronto for initial testing. We will be initially looking for general feedback and the quality of peoples' play experience when compared to other gateways.

Please note - if the gateway is full, any excess capacity will be sent to the Washington D.C. gateway.

The gateway is not listed in the gateway selection drop-down. To use the Toronto (CA) gateway, click the gateway select box, type Canada, then click Login.

When you are logged in, you can confirm your instance is on the Toronto (CA) gateway by hitting TAB and checking the area information at the top right corner of the screen.

Please do a middle east server next pleeeeeas!
Its soo bad playing on EU servers with 120+ping

A server in dubia or riyadh, will do for middle east.
Thanks for this !

I live in Montreal, currently getting 33 ms latency on both Toronto and DC, although Toronto is way more stable.
Poggers secret server
Ping is 10ms lower than DC but I am getting spikes up to 70ms.

Will try again tomorrow.
I was just having ping spike issues in the Washington (DC) servers during my Sirus fight. After I changed to the Toronto gateway the spikes were all gone!
I am in Toronto, and am having marginally worse ping (~50 to toronto, ~30 to washington). is there anything information i can provide to help or is that just a reasonable possibility
nice, so i'll lower my washington ping of 40 :)

ping went up a bit, so far nps

I live in Toronto and getting 30-40ms to both DC and the Toronto server BUT i'm not getting the huge lag spikes every little bit I usually get when connected to DC.

edit: much snappier response time when accessing my stash as well.
