Deep and awesome thoughts on trade market

First, to that kind soul who put up the 6L, 500+ DPS infernal sword for 5 chaos orbs, you are a wonderful human being and I'd buy you a beer if I could. To the rest of you idiots who think you should get 48349583 exalted orbs for a pair of rare two-tone boots with so-so stats, go fornicate yourselves. You will get nothing. Grow a brain and assign a realistic value. I'd rather go without just to spite you. I can't imagine why so many people think that in Harvest league, everything should suddenly cost 10x more than ever before. I don't care how many of you try to fix the markets. I'm not paying.

Lol. Yeah, I understand the frustration. The other things that makes me laugh are the sellers who corrupt an item and then expect buyers to believe every single corrupted item is worth an exalt.

It's too bad really. The economy is never going to grow and thrive at this rate. The combination of people not listing prices for their items and then rejecting more than reasonable offers (or not responding) combined with the ridiculous prices when they do list a price, is a turnoff.

I've stopped making offers for non-priced items. I'll wait it out until a seller actually lists a price. I'll pay more for the Xbox market than the PC market - I get the difference between the two, but I'm guessing a lot of people will just stop playing unless the market changes.

I don't get it.. What's the problem?
The market is full of overpriced items? Ye, true.
Well, just don't buy them. If the sellers really wants to sell their items, they will need to lower the price otherwise they won't sell them.
I'm buying thousand of seeds. Most of the seeds on market are ridiculously overpriced. Someone sell them for a reasonable price. If I find a reasonable seller, I'll buy his seeds, if I don't find him, well, I'll move on.
Can't understand why people gets so angry about prices, like they are forced to buy.
Don't like the price of the item you want? Don't buy it.
You really want that item? Well then pay it what the seller ask.

Indeed, I always use the ~ search function to only highlight priced items. I never bother with unpriced, because either the seller has no clue what it's worth, or they're just hoping someone will offer them an absurdly high price.

The corrupted items aren't the worst. So many people think conqueror items should be worth 30-40 exalted orbs even for a 4s with garbage stats. Nobody's going to pay that.
Wait u mean u dont want to pay 3ex for a low ilvl, non influenced, triple resist boots with 15 life and 10% MS!!!!! JK lol

People like you are part of the problem. If an item doesn’t have a listed price then it’s probably not for sale hence the not responding or rejecting ‘reasonable offers’, You talk about ‘reasonable offers and ridiculous prices. You’re obviously just trying to get an item cheaper than it’s worth. If you undercut someone, and the price check the item, see it’s worth way more than you offered, they are not going to accept. Please pay the correct price and stop hassling other players. Prices are set by supply and demand as well as worth. If you don’t want to pay so much, craft it you’re self. If it’s a unique, then lay the proper price and stop undercutting. The price is the price.
*Thought better about it. Not worth it*

I started PoE on console in a trade league. It was so frustrating trying both buy and sell items the following league I played SFF, which I have ever since. Playing PoE in SSF (or trade league without trading) is so much better I feel it improves the experience tenfold.

If you're frustrated with trading try it without you may enjoy PoE more.
SSF is happy times no lie.

So glad a buddy convinced me to try it, best decision I've made in PoE.

The feeling you get when you find the item you need is so much better than saving up money and buying it.
